Deputy Principal News - Mr Nick Akers

Welcome back to 2025. The year has started very calmly, and it is wonderful to see how quickly the students have settled back into their routines and learning.

We are moving to sector newsletters this year as a trial to see if we can provide more contextual newsletters for our parents and carers. Information provided will generally only be relevant for our sector. I will endeavour to include Year level specific information and pictures each week.

In future, this newsletter will be sent out Friday of even weeks in the calendar year, except for week 10. This is the same week as the MY parade. My contact details are there so that if you have any questions or concerns, you are welcome to drop me an email, drop in or call so I can help you.

I am looking forward to working with you all this year and having a positive year looking after your young people.

Screentime

In our busy lives, screentime can be hard to manage. Our Guidance Officer sent the following article to us around managing screentime with your child and some helpful strategies and tips, so I thought I would share.
